Leftist Tears Tumbler Lid

I have the old leftist tears tumbler from 2016 and the lid broke. I was worried that the new kid would not fit with the old tumbler but it did!! I love that the daily wire sells the lid separate in case you break it. will definitely buy this product again when the inevitable insues and I break this lid again.

There is no rubber O ring on the lid. It does not securely fit and is useless for this reason.

I sort of prefer the old design with the sliding piece to cover the drink opening, but I see the flaw in that design as well.
